I had another crazy week of working for the Lord! Praise God for giving me boldness to speak the powerful name of Jesus to the teenagers here in Craiova! As much as I was telling people about Jesus, helping the ministry of Hope Church and working for God, God was really working on me too. I was so overwhelmed by the presence of my God. I felt his presence and peace so strongly that I knew I could do anything for him. When I know God is close then I am courageous, when I feel like he is distant then that’s when I am afraid. But I now know that he is always close even when I don’t feel his presence. I go by what God’s word says not what my feelings say. Jesus said for me to go make disciples and that he is with me always to the end of the age. He is changing me. One thing I did expect would happen on the World Race is becoming more like Christ and I see it coming true.

One of the reasons why God felt to close to me this week is because he spoke to me multiple times. He told me through other people to be more confident. I thought I was a pretty confident person but when someone says,”You should be more confident” then I guess I was lacking it. Then I realized that I struggle with not having confidence in what I say. God is challenging me. He wants me to be confident in Him and be confident in how He made me. Since I know God’s voice then I can be more confident when I talk to people. The devil would want nothing more to tell me that I have nothing important to say and would like to prevent me from speaking the gospel but since I know God’s Word then I do have something very important to say and therefore I can have confidence. Confidence comes from the Lord and the Holy Spirit speaks through me. God cause me not to be afraid to open my mouth! There are people living in utter darkness who need to hear the truth of Jesus!

“… do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.” Mark 13:11

We were blessed to have a missionary family from YWAM stay in the mission house with us and do worship at Hope Church. They have been missionaries in Romania for about 5 years. It was so awesome getting to know them this weekend. They were so on fire for Jesus is was astounding!

When the family came, they also brought letters with them. They were prophetic letters and the mother, Becky, read the description on who to give the letter to. On the letter it said,”To a guy with brown hair and blue eyes.” I immediately knew it was for me and apparently Becky did too and handed it to me. It was spooky. The letter was written by her 13 year old daughter Kerrington, who was not able to come. I saved the letter to read it in my alone time and when I did, God spoke powerfully to me through this girl who I never met.

The letter started like this,”I feel like God is telling me that you are like a lion and are so courageous and brave and you will do amazing things for Jesus.” Then she went on to say,”As long as you’re fighting battles for God you will never lose, even when you think you do.” and gave me Philippians 4:13.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

At the end, it spoke powerfully to me,”So look back on this when you feel weak, for God is giving His son strength.”

God spoke mightily to me through this letter from this awesome girl just when I needed confidence! He knows that I want and need confidence so I can effectlively spread the gospel. My name Andrew, means strong manly so I will be a strong man of God!

Thank you Kerrington!
